HYDROBLAST CLEANING TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of pressure washing services provided by Hydroblast Cleaning to you the client. By hiring our services, you agree to comply with, and be bound by, the following terms and conditions.

Services Provided
1.1. We offer pressure washing services for residential and commercial properties, including but not limited to driveways, patios, exterior walls, fences, decking, roofs and all other exterior hard surfaces.
1.2. The scope of services will be outlined in the written quotation provided to you before work commences.
1.3. Additional services or changes to the agreed services may incur additional fees, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.
1.4. Mechanical Compaction (Whacker Plate)
Where re-sanding or re-jointing of block paving is carried out, we may use a mechanical vibrating plate (commonly referred to as a “whacker plate”) to aid the settlement and compaction of jointing sand between blocks. While every care is taken during this process, we accept no liability for any movement, scuffing, chipping, or damage to pre-existing loose, cracked, or compromised blocks, edges, or surrounding areas.

Quotations and Pricing
2.1. All quotations are free and provided without obligation. They are valid for a period of 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
2.2. Prices quoted are based on the scope of work detailed in the quotation. Any additional work not specified in the quotation may be subject to extra charges.
2.3. We reserve the right to revise our rates for future services, and such changes will be communicated before the service agreement is finalized.

Payment Terms
3.1. Full payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.2. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, bank transfer, or via all major credit cards via our card reader machines or any other method agreed upon between you and the Company.
3.3. Late payments may incur interest charges at a rate of 8% (as specified by UK Courts) per month from the due date until the full payment is received. We reserve the right to request this additional payment from the Courts if we have to pursue you legally for late or non-payment.
3.4. Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of our services until all outstanding amounts are settled.

Client Responsibilities
4.1. You are responsible for ensuring that the work area is clear of obstacles, such as vehicles, outdoor furniture, potted plants, toys, bicycles etc, unless prior arrangements have been made. We may levy a charge for clearing the areas and repositioning such items back into their original positions post cleaning.
4.2. You must inform us of any pre-existing damage or potential vulnerabilities (such as fragile surfaces or deteriorating paint) in the area to be serviced.
4.3. The Client must provide access to water (outside tap) at the work site unless otherwise agreed upon.
4.4. We can occasionally use a water point from inside the kitchen. Provided we can secure a connection. Hydroblast Cleaning accepts NO responsibility for water leakage when using indoor fixtures. This will be at the owner’s own risk.
4.5. On exceptionally rare occasions clients may ask us to run hoses through part of their property. This will be at your own risk. We accept no liability for leaks, marks, or damage caused.
4.6. Any drains or gullies should be clear prior to our arrival. We accept no liability for existing drainage issues.
4.7. Waste removal is not included unless agreed. We may bag waste or place it in customer bins.
4.8. You must ensure doors, windows, and openings are closed. We accept no liability for water ingress.
4.9. We assume all electrical fittings are water-safe. We accept no liability for damage.

Service Limitations
5.1. Certain surfaces may not be suitable for pressure washing. We disclaim liability unless agreed in writing.
5.2. We are not liable for pre-existing damage.
5.3. We do not guarantee stain removal.
5.4. Chemical use may affect surrounding areas. We accept no liability for plant damage.
5.5. Block Paving Alignment & Joint Gaps
Please note that when carrying out repairs, re-sanding, or restoration work on larger driveways or extensive block paved areas, we cannot guarantee uniformity of joint gaps between blocks. This is due to the fact that our datum points are fixed to the existing laid surface. Any variations in spacing, alignment, or settlement are a result of the original installation and/or ground movement over time.
Our operatives can explain this in clear detail prior to the commencement of work, and by proceeding with the service, you acknowledge and accept these limitations.

Cancellations and Rescheduling
6.1. You may cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours notice.
6.2. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
6.3. We may reschedule due to weather or unforeseen issues.

Liability and Insurance
7.1. We carry public liability insurance.
7.2. Liability is limited to our insurance coverage.
7.3. You agree to indemnify Hydroblast Cleaning against claims arising from your failure to comply.

Warranties and Guarantees
8.1. We aim for high-quality service but do not guarantee full stain removal.
8.2. Issues must be reported within 48 hours.
8.3. Warranties are void if third-party work is carried out.

Health and Safety
9.1. We follow all health and safety regulations.
9.2. Keep children and pets away from work areas.
9.3. We may stop work if safety concerns arise.

Force Majeure
10.1. We are not liable for events beyond our control.

Termination of Services
11.1. We may terminate services if terms are breached.
11.2. Outstanding balances become immediately due.

Governing Law – England & Wales
12.1. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
12.2. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales.

Photography & Marketing
13.1. Hydroblast Cleaning reserves the right to take photographs and/or video recordings of the work area before, during, and after completion of services for the purposes of record-keeping, quality assurance, insurance, and marketing.
13.2. By accepting our quotation and engaging our services, you provide consent for such images and recordings to be used in our promotional materials, including but not limited to our website, social media platforms, online listings, and printed advertising.
13.3. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that images do not intentionally identify individuals or disclose sensitive personal information. Where reasonably practicable, identifying features such as house numbers or vehicle registration plates will be avoided or obscured.
13.4. If you wish to opt out of the use of images for marketing purposes, you must notify us in writing prior to the commencement of work. In such circumstances, Hydroblast Cleaning reserves the right to take and retain images strictly for internal, evidential, and insurance purposes only.
13.5. All photographs and recordings taken remain the sole property of Hydroblast Cleaning and may be stored securely in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
